Felt story board supplies

Procedure

First I will pass around a shoe box with a hole in it that they will stick their hands in.  Inside the shoebox I will have the stuffed frog.  I will tell them that my friend is hiding and they have to guess what my friend is.  After guessing for a minute or so, I will take out the frog and tell the children he is cold because he hopped so far without warm clothes.  I will talk about what the kids wear when its cold.  Then I will read the story and use my felt story board.  When the story is over, I will have the children act like they are putting certain clothes on, to act like Froggy in the story.  In my last transition, I will get the kids to hop like frogs to get their coats, as they go outside after story time.
